1. Scope
This policy applies when you visit eb3vietnam.com or message Global Job Opportunities (GJO) via Zalo, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Threads or X. GJO complies with Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15.
2. What data does GJO collect?
- When you message us: only minimal data – the name you go by, your contact channel, your needs (jobs/cities of interest), and your general situation (whether you are in Vietnam or the US, going alone or with family).
- GJO does not collect or store passports, national ID cards, photos of documents or financial information. Please do not send these documents to GJO.
- The "leave your details" form on job pages (optional): email and/or phone number/Zalo, the name you go by (if you fill it in), your preferred contact channel, a short note, the job you are interested in, the time of submission and the fact that you ticked the consent box. You can always choose to message us instead of filling in the form. The data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and can only be viewed by GJO administrators.
- Signing up for "notify me when jobs open" emails (City guide, coming-soon job pages): the email you enter, the city/job you are interested in and the time you signed up. GJO only uses this to email you when jobs in that city open for applications (sent via the Resend email service). Every email includes an "Unsubscribe" link.
- Website: apart from the forms and statistics above, eb3vietnam.com does not collect personal data. To prevent automated submissions, the system only temporarily keeps a hash of your IP address for up to 1 hour. Infrastructure provider (Cloudflare), font service (Google Fonts) and illustration images (Wikimedia Commons) may record technical data such as IP addresses under their own policies.
3. What does GJO use the data for?
- Answering your questions and sending relevant job information and EB-3 knowledge.
- Reminding you when new jobs, or jobs you are interested in, open for applications (if you agree).
4. Sharing data with partners
GJO only passes on your information (the name you go by, how to contact you, the needs you shared) to a partner provider with your consent, and records the date you consented. GJO does not sell personal data.
5. Your rights
- Request to view, correct, stop processing or delete your data at any time by messaging GJO.
- When GJO receives a deletion request, GJO deletes the data from its tracking records and from the form system, and only records that the deletion was made (deleted data is not retained).
